The House
This was the wiggliest house I have ever worked with! Funnily, Eleni the client, works with cancer cells and so is all about precision, making this project quite a mission! She had sourced some beautiful french tiles from an old Château, so we worked with the pieces available to create a rug effect around the bathroom furniture. The curved sink unit, made by Chalon, features glass handles and traditional brassware to finish the french effect.
Bespoke Marble
None of the usual marbles worked well enough with the tiles, and so we challenged our stone supplier to find a pink marble. They sourced a sample from their contacts in Spain and sent over a sample which Eleni fell head over heels for. The granite company wanted to provide the bath surround in four pieces, however, through strong negotiation, we worked out a way of having it delivered in one, unbroken piece. I think the granite company had their hearts in their mouths through this installation, but it looks amazing!
