Buying a new kitchen should be an exciting time, but I know it can also be a little daunting with a lot of new decisions to make on an expensive project.

I meet hundreds of people on their kitchen journey and I know how confusing it can be, buying something that you may never have bought before, not knowing how much it should cost, what quality level is actually acceptable or whether you're being ripped off or getting value for money.

I want to demystify the kitchen world which is why I have created this detailed course, taking you through the whole process of design and purchase so you feel confident in your new space regardless of budget. It's all the knowledge that the 10 and 15 hour packages would offer but for pocket friendly budgets.

You'll be surprised how many decisions you have already made and how much you already know.

Module 1: Measuring Your Space

This module looks at how to measure your room and what to look out for. We will then draw up our plan to scale on paper or using free websites online so we can start designing.

Module 2: Looking at Flow

This module will talk about flow and how we move through the room. We will sketch out what space we have to play with allowing the magic meter and whether there is space for an island and how we could make space, but is it appropriate!

Module 3: Creating Your Zones

How do you work out your brief, what do you want from your new kitchen and where can we find compromises. This module requires a family meeting, paper and lots of tea!

Module 4: Sourcing Your Kitchen

A really important module that covers what to look for in a good cupboard and where I like to buy from or who avoid.

We will also learn about the differences between framed and lay on kitchens and which will suit you.

Module 5: Pulling It Together

This is where we start putting units together based on our zones and unit sizes to create our kitchen that will truly work. Making it pretty is the easy bit!

Module 6: Finishing Touches

We will go through end panels, support panels, pelmets, cornice, skirting and more to make sure you don't forget these small but important parts that will elevate your design to the next level.
