Traditional Kitchen

Classic Kitchen Style

Mr and Mrs Butler chose to have a painted in-frame kitchen with dovetailed oak drawers and solid wood door frames. We used framed end panels instead of tounge-and-groove for a sense of traditional formality. They had very tall ceiling throughout their home and so we used bespoke height wall cupboards to fit just below the coving, with up-lighting to further accentuated the height.

Mr and Mrs Baker laid a new wooden floor and we made a new frame for their existing tabletop to create a practical kitchen table for when their grandchildren come to stay.

Design Solutions

They had a pillar protruding into the kitchen, however, by placing the extra deep stacked washing machine and tumble dryer cupboard at the end, we created a flat front to the run of tall units that housed the ovens and full height fridge.

Corner Storage

A LeMans in their blind corner has been put to good use, providing plenty of storage for all their dried food and tins. Each shelf can hold up to 50kg each (a child's weight) so you have nothing to worry about.

Granite Worktops

The granite rises up behind the sink to flow into the window sills to prevent anything from getting wet when doing the washing up. Their washing machine is next to the sink with an Info Light which shines a small red dot on the floor so that you know when it is running as it is so quiet you can hardly hear it.
