Oak Kitchen & Utility

oak kitchen, granite worktop, hidden storage, kitchen larder

The Project

Mr and Mrs Panton have created a beautifully zoned kitchen that makes cooking an efficient and enjoyable process. With a beautiful colour palette based around their Blue Pearl Granite worktop, the warmth of the oak doors shines through making this a welcoming and homely space.

Kitchen Peninsular

Their peninsular has framed end panels on its back and side to create the illusion of doors flowing around the kitchen. A bank of drawers provides enough storage for all of their pots, pans and utensils for quick access whilst using the hob.

Larder Cupboard

A run of tall units house a larder, fridge, freezer and double oven providing plenty of storage for food all in one place. The larder has a marble shelf for keeping their cheeses and vegetables cool as well as three internal drawers for storing items such as cling-film and tea towels.

Kitchen Zoning

The bin is located near the sink and dishwasher to make it quick and easy to scrape off plates whilst washing up as well as being near to the main preparation space.

They chose to have freestanding washing machine and dryer for easy access. By grouping them with the broom cupboard which houses the boiler, and being located near the back door, it makes it easy to hang out washing.

A similar kitchen would cost £25-30K
