Georgian Kitchen

Elizabeth needed a new kitchen as one of the last large projects in the long restoration of their beautiful Georgian house. She loved the classic Chalon look and had asked her cabinetmaker, to make her one. It was a difficult room to design with the kitchen and dining area separated by a thin, hallway-like section. Sean suggested that she get in contact with Covey Kitchens (Now The Kitchen Lady) to make the most of this space.

Storage Solutions

We decided to turn one of the room's many build in cupboards into an integrated fridge housing. We used two breakfronts over the length of the longest run to bring interest and detract from the different wall levels.

Next to the Aga was a large boiler that needed hiding and we made the additional space into two equal flanking cupboards. The large alcove was made into a breakfast cupboard with crockery drawers, spice racks and shelving.

Something similar would cost around £20K
