Home Office

The Brief

This Client wanted a dressing room - cum - home office to fit in with their period home without breaking the bank. (See the Dressing Room for the other side of the room).

The Home Office

To tie the two spaces together, whilst making them different zones, we used similar proportions and style widths for the doors. By having a full width of worktop, it ties the three sections of desk and flanking storage together. The storage base units are deep enough to keep the printer and files, whereas the top, sit-on units are shallower to let in as much light as possible and prevent crowding the window.

Again, we have used a fly-over with downlight and built it into the ceiling. The desk projects out with plenty of drawers and space for their desktop.

Something similar would cost around £4K
